Job description

About Fort Health:
Fort Health
is a mental health company that is on a mission to "Opening more paths to better care for more families". We're all about making a real difference in the lives of children and adolescents. With a whopping 50% of kids in the US missing out on mental health care, we're determined to change that statistic. And with a market size of over $50 billion, we're not just dreaming big - we're making it happen!
Our vision? Picture this: a world where every child has access to the support they need to thrive mentally and emotionally. With the help of our amazing partners, like the Child Mind Institute, we're creating a one-of-a-kind support system that combines digital tools with virtual clinicians. Because at Fort Health, we believe "we're stronger together".
About the Role:
We are looking for remote Licensed Child and Adolescent Therapists to join Fort Health's clinical delivery team. As a Fort Health therapist, you'll make a meaningful impact every day, providing exceptional care to kids, teens, and families while working alongside a collaborative, mission-driven team. You are the face of Fort Health-the trusted partner our families meet first-and your connection with patients brings our mission to life. You'll have access to cutting-edge tools, training, and support that empower you to grow your clinical impact and career.
Highlights of being a Fort Health Therapist:
  • We fill your schedule so you can focus on what you do best-providing exceptional care to children, teens, and families.
  • See insurance-based patients without the administrative hassle-we handle credentialing, billing, and claims so you don't have to.
  • Dedicated front desk and care management teams support your patients and keep your schedule running smoothly, managing coordination and between-session needs.
  • Therapist-friendly technology and EMR, including custom tools built in-house, streamline scheduling, documentation, and patient communication-so you can spend more time in session, not on screens.

In this role, you will:
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children, teens, and families through our virtual care platform.
  • Build trusted relationships that make families feel supported, seen, and understood-you are the front door to Fort Health
  • Collaborate with care managers, psychiatrists, and clinical leaders to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Manage an up to date calendar and adhere to scheduling protocols
  • Participate in case consultation, peer learning, and ongoing clinical supervision to strengthen your practice.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, growth-minded community of therapists passionate about improving youth mental health.
  • Leverage cutting-edge tools, training, and data insights to enhance your clinical effectiveness and professional growth.
  • Bring curiosity, compassion, and commitment to helping kids and families thrive-your work drives our mission forward.

What we are looking for:
  • Licensed Psychologist (PhD, PsyD), LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC licensed to practice in New York (multiple state licenses a bonus).
  • 2 years of clinical experience working directly with children, teenagers, and families, with experience in evidence-based treatments such as CBT, ACT, and DBT.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and experience delivering effective care through telehealth.
  • Able to navigate Doxy, EHR, and Google Suite to deliver care and communicate with team members
  • Passionate about providing direct care and owning a panel of patients for the foreseeable future
  • Availability to schedule sessions during weekdays 3:30pm-8:30pm and/or weekends as needed
  • This is a remote position and candidates must reside in the United States and have access to internet

What we offer:
  • Flexible Schedule and Compensation: This is a Part-Time 1099 Contractor role. Part-time therapists are expected to spend 8 hours minimum with Fort Health per week delivering clinical care. 1099 therapists are paid based on CPT Code for completed appointments.
  • Malpractice coverage provided
  • Dedicated front desk and care managers to handle all the admin (for schedule and between session support)
  • Therapist-friendly EMR with custom technology we develop to make your scheduling and patient communication easierIn-house psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners
