Description

As the HM Foreclosure Specialist, you will monitor loans in foreclosure to ensure compliance with all investor, guarantor, ensurer, state and federal guidelines/timeframes are adhered to.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Monitor loans in the foreclosure process and update servicing system with all critical steps during the process.
  • Managing a portfolio of assets in various stages of foreclosure.

  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with processing foreclosures.

  • Manage State Foreclosure timelines.

  • Requesting and validating legal documents from third party vendors.

  • Coordinate with third party services for statutory postings and mailings.

  • Accurately entering data and maintaining electronic files.

  • Interaction with Foreclosure Attorney daily.

  • Execute and notarize foreclosure documents, which assist with the foreclosure action. 

  • Review file when received in foreclosure to ensure that all the prerequisites of foreclosure have been met.

  • Work the foreclosure task queue daily and respond to inquiries timely.
  • Handle all foreclosure related correspondence, phone calls, emails promptly to avoid customer complaints.
  • Read, Review, and understand title reports to determine the lien position.
  • Report foreclosure sale results accurately and timely to the investor.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by management. 

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • High School Diploma
  • MSP/Director 7/ LPS/ Black Knight
  • 2 -4 years of default loan servicing
  • FHA/USDA/VA servicing experience preferred
  • Candidate should have strong time-management skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize work assignments, be detail oriented and self-motivated. 
  • Knowledgeable in Document Execution and notarization

  • Knowledgeable in Payoffs and reinstatements

  • Superior customer service orientation, advanced analytical and proficient product knowledge.

  • Superior ability to multi-task and to function efficiently in a high volume, fast paced deadline-oriented environment.

  • Solid knowledge MS Excel

  • Solid knowledge of MS Word

  • Superior time management skills

  • Superior written and verbal skills

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
