The Job
Prepare and cook menu items for the Skyroom Restaurant and catered events while maintaining quality, speed, cleanliness, and food safety standards. Training is available for motivated team members-tasks may be adjusted for minors where permitted.
What You'll Do
• Work a designated station (grill, fryer, sauté, pantry, or prep) as assigned
• Cook menu items to recipe, portion, presentation, and timing standards
• Prep ingredients (portioning, chopping, labeling, stocking)
• Support catered-event production (batch cooking, plating, hot/cold holding)
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow safe handling procedures
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized throughout service
• Follow sanitation and safety rules (handwashing, gloves, cross-contamination prevention)
• Assist with opening/closing duties (restock, wipe down, sweep/mop, trash removal)
What We're Looking For
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work at a steady pace
• Willing to learn recipes, routines, and kitchen safety standards
• Able to follow directions and communicate clearly during busy service
• Available for peak shifts: weekends, evenings, holidays (as scheduled)
Preferred (not required):
• Line cook, prep cook, or high-volume kitchen experience
• Food safety knowledge (ServSafe or similar is a plus)
