Job Summary
The purpose of the Director of Ticket Operations job is to ensure that the University assets are protected through adherence to applicable external and internal regulations and appropriate external representation of ULM Athletics.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Direct oversight of all Ticket Office personnel including, but not limited to, full-time, student workers, interns, graduate assistant, and Scouts
  • Create and maintain a detailed tracking plans of the status for all ticket sales, orders and payments to be used for reconciliations.
  • Research and reconcile process of outstanding check requests, invoices, ticket orders and reimbursements
  • Reconciliation of all athletic ticketed events for both season and single game tickets including, but not limited, to Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, Baseball, and Softball
  • Interact with ULM fans and season ticket members over phone, electronically
  • Build and maintain event manifests while developing additional ways to promote the most efficient and effective ways to sell, operate and service
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, university staff, and vendors
  • Act as sales compliance to ensure that all measured tasks/goals for revenue, operations are met in an efficient manner
  • Provide Game day operations to general public, coordinating the work schedules for ULM Scouts
  • Continually expand, enhance and promote electronic ticketing features
  • Provide revenue breakdowns, as requested, of results and future forecasting to the Athletic Director, Executive Associate Athletic Director and Director of Athletic Business Operations
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Athletic Senior Staff.
  • Assist marketing personnel with the development of sales and support materials.
  • Work closely with athletic development office to ensure proper management of athletic donor programs as they relate to ticket sales initiatives and donor relations
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strict adherence to established NCAA, Sun Belt Conference, University Louisiana at Monroe and University of Louisiana System rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum qualifications includes a bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred; collegiate experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of communication and marketing best practices;
  • Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and details effectively;
  • Ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of constituencies;
  • Must maintain a thorough knowledge of NCAA, Sun Belt, and ULM rules and regulations
  • Ability to meet established deadlines;
  • Proficient knowledge of Veritix/AXS ticketing system or similar software; and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
