Please note: This is an unpaid, for college credit internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility and enrollment to receive academic credit for their time interning with THE• TEAM and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.
Job Overview
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day efforts of THE• TEAM's Talent Marketing department by assisting with brand partnerships, endorsement opportunities, and client marketing initiatives. This role provides administrative and project support to marketing leadership while helping coordinate client branding efforts, partnership outreach, and campaign execution. Responsibilities include researching prospective brand partners, conducting outreach for complimentary product and paid endorsement opportunities, developing marketing materials, tracking active deals and communications, and assisting with client appearances, events, social media initiatives, and charitable endeavors. The Marketing Intern will also support new business development by identifying partnership opportunities, maintaining organized marketing pipelines, and helping ensure successful execution of client marketing campaigns and brand relationships.
What You'll Do
  • Research and identify brand partnership opportunities for THE• TEAM's Football athletes.
  • Conduct outreach to brands and agencies to secure complimentary products, barter partnerships, and paid endorsement deals.
  • Build and maintain target lists of prospective brand partners and marketing contacts.
  • Assist senior marketing leadership with organizing active partnerships, communications, and deal pipelines.
  • Track outreach efforts, partnership opportunities, campaign requests, and client marketing activities.
  • Create and update client marketing materials, pitch decks, athlete portfolios, and partnership presentations.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other marketing documents as needed.
  • Monitor social media, industry trends, and athlete news to identify client highlights and new partnership opportunities.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns, brand activations, and promotional initiatives.
  • Coordinate with clients, agents, brands, and external partners to help ensure campaign deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Assist with marketing logistics for athlete appearances, interviews, charitable initiatives, and major NFL events, including the Combine, Draft, Super Bowl, and Pro Bowl.
  • Help maintain accurate records of brand relationships, campaign performance, and partnership history.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Marketing team while contributing to new business development initiatives.

What We're Looking For
  • Currently getting a college degree, preferably in marketing, communications, sports management, or related field
  • Possess persuasiveness skills to successfully negotiate on behalf of the client's interests
  • Requires considerable flexibility in scheduling and the willingness to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to prospect and research marketing partnerships on behalf of the clients
  • Requires a passion for sports and business
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Strong understanding of social/digital media
  • Well-developed communication skills and ability to interact with people of all demographics
  • Requires self-management and project management abilities
  • Ability to build strong, lasting relationships internally and externally

Internship Program Details:
  • The Internship Program runs between September 9th - December 11th, 2026
  • Must be able to come into our Los Angeles office 2-3x per week
  • Must be able to earn college credit for an internship
  • Time commitment expectation of 20 hours per week
