Jaxon is looking for an Electrical Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Salary: $26.00-$32.00 per hour with opportunity for OT plus per diem while traveling

Schedule: Full-Time

Travel Requirement:  While this role is primarily a position located in Colorado Springs, an Electrical Technician should be prepared to travel as needed. Travel expenses are paid by the company. 

Security Clearance Requirement:  This role requires the ability and willingness to obtain a Department of Defense Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance.

Primary Duties:

  • Perform a blend of electrician/electronics technician tasks
  • Bend and install conduit, effectively use wide range of hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as forklift and scissor lift safely
  • Run, terminate, and connect conductors ranging from around 26 AWG up to 750MCM (ribbon cables, THHN, and/or Coax/RF cables)
  • Mount electrical equipment
  • Read and comprehend drawings, manuals, and diagrams
  • Follow drawings and assembly instructions to assemble electronic equipment and electrical power equipment
  • Conduct quality control checks and test final products for proper functionality
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic circuits
  • Collaborate with leads, engineers, and other professionals on technical tasks
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress and inventory

Requirements

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Ability to work from electrical schematics and/or mechanical drawings, work independently and complete tasks on schedule
  • Experience in basic electrical/electronic circuit troubleshooting and mechanical assembly and disassembly
  • Proficient with MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Possess a valid driver's license

  • Obtain United States Passport 
  • Use grinders, chop saws, drills, plasma cutters and both scissor lift & variable-reach forklifts 
  • Ability to bend over, kneel and crouch for long periods of time, & able to lift at least 50 lbs.
