Job description

Job DescriptionPosition Summary

The Football Operations Coordinator provides support to the Football Operations staff and assists with operations, logistics, and events for the Football program.

Located in the beautiful city of Fort Collins, Colorado State University is a premier land-grant university with world-class programs in education, outreach, and research. The Colorado State University Department of Athletics sponsors 16 men's and women's intercollegiate sports and competes as a member of NCAA Division I-FBS and the Pac-12 Conference. Essential Job Duties
  • Assist with team travel logistics

  • Assist with NCAA compliance tracking, including Teamworks schedule accuracy and student worker onboarding documentation

  • Assist with planning and execute team and staff events (camps, Women's Clinic, Team Banquet), including budgeting and vendor/BEO coordination

  • Assist with new player onboarding logistics, including Teamworks and move-in logistics

  • Support daily football office operations, including meal calendar management, supply needs, and correspondence between academic staff, coaches, and operations

Conditions of Employment

  • Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires)

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; the department will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

Supervision

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook and Excel

  • Previous experience with scheduling, communications with large groups, and prioritizing competing requests

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior working experience in college athletics operations, team travel, or event management,

  • Familiarity with team logistics software such as Teamworks

  • Two or more years of student employee or student volunteer experience

  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
