General Job Description:
Tiffin University is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to serve as the Head Coach for the Men's Flag Football program. This position is ideal for someone with previous flag football experience, coaching skills, and a passion for fostering a positive and competitive team environment. As part of the Club & Recreational Sports Department, the Head Men's Flag Football Coach will work closely with student-athletes to develop their skills and enhance their experience in collegiate flag football.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and lead flag football practices, including drills and skill development.
  • Develop strategies and assist with game preparation and execution.
  • Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among student-athletes.
  • Coordinate and oversee team travel for games and events.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during all activities.
  • Communicate effectively with the Club Sports Director and team members.
  • Promote the growth and success of the Men's Flag Football program through effective coaching and leadership.
  • Recruiting student-athletes, scheduling, travel planning, practice scheduling, personal mentorship, and roster management.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Experience playing or coaching flag football at the collegiate or competitive level.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Available to work evenings and weekends based on practice and competition schedules.
  • Demonstrated passion for flag football and student-athlete development.
