Job Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
They will work with coaches during practice to help the players, as well as help coaches perform drills. Students will be asked to process laundry. Managers will also learn how to properly fit and maintain equipment such as helmets and shoulder pads. Managers will be taught how to properly maintain an accurate inventory on a daily basis and will be required to help with locker room set-up for all home games. Managers will be asked to perform game day duties that will be specified by the head football manager.
• Practice set-up and break down on a daily basis
• Managers will work with coaches during practice to help set-up and execute the drills
• Managers will be asked to process laundry daily
• Managers will also learn how to properly fit and maintain equipment such as helmets and shoulder pads
• Managers will be taught how to properly maintain an accurate inventory on a daily basis
• Managers will be required to help with locker room set-up for all home games
• Managers will be asked to perform game day duties that will be specified by the head football manager
• Equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Ensure proper storage of equipment
• Compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required in this position.
• Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
• Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
