Job description

Cannon Falls Area School is searching for a highly qualified JV Assistant Football Coach. The JV Assistant Coach will assist the Head JV Coach on the JV team and also assist the Head Coach during Varsity games or as needed by the Varsity Head Football Coach. 

Qualifications: 

Has the ability to help organize and help supervise a complete football practice. 

Previous successful coaching experience is encouraged but not required. 

Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of football. 

Reports to: 

The Head Football Coach and Administration from Cannon Falls Area School. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Remains loyal to the Head Coach at all times. 

Executes all plans set forth by the Head Coach. 

Teaches the fundamental skills and techniques to all players. 

Teaches with enthusiasm and strives for success, as well as sportsmanship, values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, self-confidence, and self-control. Understands and accepts the proper line of command and refers all requests and grievances through proper channels.

* Approval from Administration 

* Approval from Cannon Falls School Board
