Since 1975, El Arroyo has been serving up Tex-Mex with a side of laughs on our famous marquee sign that stands on the corner of West 5th and Campbell in Austin, Texas. “The Last Queso Stop Before a Bunch of Yoga Studios” — over the years we've covered every food pun imaginable while never forgetting witty commentary on current events. We're always happy to take sign submissions from customers and the internet! We've been serving great Tex-Mex food in Austin for more than 25 years and we've loved every second of it. We’re bringing the fun outside of Austin with an El Arroyo Food Truck location opening Memorial Day Weekend in Gruene, Texas, nestled in the main hub of Rockin’ R River Rides right on the Guadalupe River. This exciting new location will bring El Arroyo’s signature Tex-Mex, cold drinks, and good vibes to one of Texas’ favorite river destinations.

This is a delicious opportunity for you to enhance your culinary skills and be part of a dynamic team. Learning how to run a BBQ smoker and catering events will also be important. Opportunity to advance to main restaurant El Arroyo, coming soon to Gruene!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with health and safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred
