Job Summary
Do you enjoy helping others and delivering great customer service? We're looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Meal Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll support both patient meal delivery and cafeteria service, helping ensure a safe, respectful, and high-quality dining experience for patients, visitors, and staff.
Reporting to the Operations Manager or designee, you'll play an important role in patient care by delivering meals accurately, maintaining sanitation standards, and creating a positive experience for everyone you serve.
What You'll Do
  • Accurately assemble patient meal trays following dietary guidelines and safety protocols
  • Deliver meals to patients in a courteous and professional manner while following patient identification procedures
  • Respect patient privacy and dignity, including knocking before entering rooms and adhering to confidentiality standards
  • Support cafeteria operations by providing excellent customer service and assisting with food service
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
  • Perform dishwashing duties and maintain cleanliness in the dishroom and kitchen areas
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and universal precaution standards
  • Assist with basic food preparation as needed
  • Inventory and restock supplies to ensure smooth daily operations
