Job description

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Always greet customers as they approach the department, provide excellent customer service through entire interaction.
  • Set up food service, kitchen, prep stations, and equipment for business day.
  • Prepares or assists in the preparation of hot and cold food items.
  • Ensure proper utensils, napkins and condiments are available to customers.
  • Check food temperatures before serving following all food safety guidelines.
  • Check Cold case temperatures frequently.
  • Visually inspect all products for quality or out of date labels and remove from selling floor as needed.
  • Take orders and serve food items to customers following customers specific requests.
  • Clean, wash and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, pots, pans, service ware, utensils, and equipment.
  • Collect and place garbage/compost in designated containers.
  • May provide guidance and training to other employees performing related work.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management immediately.
  • Assist in receiving deliveries and putting loads away in an orderly manner.
  • Other duties may be assigned by management.

Shifts vary by location and are established bases on the business needs of the Store.  Your manager will work with you to find a schedule that will provide you with your desired hours, whenever possible.  Schedules are flexible and should be discussed with your manager.
