APPLY TODAY! GSA Staffing is currently hiring for the bottling line at a food production facility in Sandston, VA. 1st shift is available immediately, 4am to 4pm. Compensation starts at $17.00 per hour.

Job Description:

  • Work in an environment of high allergens (soy, wheat, peanut, sesame, and mustard)
  • Packaging of Soy Sauce and other Seasonings Inspecting, weighing, labeling and packing of various food products
  • Attendance and Dependability is Critical
  • Perform duties while standing for extended periods of time
  • Lift 50 pounds using safe lifting practices
  • Perform housekeeping duties, keeping area clean at all times, utilizing down time to clean in, around, and under all equipment.
  • Must be able to walk, stand and lift various products for the duration of the shift
  • Be able to verbally communicate to team leads and peers
  • Intermediate Computer skills
  • Be willing to learn how to change over and operate the equipment
  • Be willing to learn company products and variety of labeling
  • Able to Multi Task
  • Flexible to work in different Areas as required.
  • Ensure products are inspected and quality procedures are being followed.
  • Follow all Safety and GMP Procedures.
  • Meet Daily Production goals

Requirements to be considered for this job:

  • Must have a minimum of 1 Year Food/Production Experience
  • Able to bend, lift, stand up to 12 hours
  • Steel toe or composite toe shoes are required
  • Must be able to attend orientations and client walk thru
  • Willing and able to work overtime if required
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay starting at $17.00 per hour.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
