Location: Sandston, VA
Pay Rate:
  • $20/hour - Food Production Worker/Certified Fork Lift Operator

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Full-Time)

Job Overview
We are hiring motivated Food Production Workers and experienced Machine Operators to join our growing team at a peanut-free facility specializing in premium food processing. This is a great opportunity to work in a clean, safety-focused environment where you will work with tree nuts as part of a professional production and logistics operation.
As a Fork Lift Operator, you will play a key role in moving materials, supporting production flow, and maintaining compliance in our peanut-free facility. Team members in production roles will help work with tree nuts through washing, packaging, and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Wash, process, and package products that work with tree nuts in a regulated food production environment
  • Safely operate sit-down forklifts as a Fork Lift Operator to load, unload, and transport materials
  • Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the peanut-free facility
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area
  • Follow GMPs, food safety standards, and company policies
  • Assist with inventory tracking and stock rotation
  • Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols

Facility & Safety Standards
This role is based in a peanut-free facility. No peanuts or peanut-based products are permitted on-site. Employees will work with tree nuts such as almonds, cashews, walnuts, pecans, pistachios, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, and macadamia nuts.
To maintain food safety compliance:
  • Work boots must be changed into on-site and left at the facility
  • Lockers are provided for personal items
  • No cell phones allowed in manufacturing areas (break areas permitted)

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in food production or manufacturing preferred
  • Sit-down forklift experience required for Fork Lift Operator positions
  • Forklift certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Must be comfortable working in a peanut-free facility and able to work with tree nuts daily
