Job description

The Food Runner is primarily responsible for delivering food orders to the customers. The food runner is a great first job for someone entering the restaurant business for the first time!!

Responsibilities of the Food Runner:

  • Deliver food to our customers in a fast paced, fun, and busy environment
  • Ensures guest has have everything they need on the tables after delivery of food.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with guests, and co-workers.
  • Communicate food orders to the expo and kitchen
  • Promote an atmosphere of teamwork by assisting co-workers.

Requirements and skills for successful Food Runners     

  • Perform more than one task at a time.
  • Follow instructions.
  • Report to work in a complete required uniform.
  • Be courteous, friendly and pleasant.
  • Lift and carry multiple plates from kitchen to dining room.
  • Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant.
