Job description

This role is part of KFC U.S. Food Safety & Quality Assurance andย is responsible forย leading the team's data and insight capability across product quality, food safety, and operational performance. The Senior Analyst will manage and evolve FSQA reporting and analytics, strengthen visibility to risk and performance trends, and help shift the team from reporting activity to driving actionable insights that supportย continuous improvement. This role alsoย retainsย ownership of the KFC processing product quality complaints program, including complaint intake, follow-up, trend analysis, and credit resolution support. Success in this role requires strong analytical rigor, sound judgment, and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations that improve business performance.ย 

Required qualificationsย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Dataย Analytics, Food Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related fieldย 
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, food safety, quality assurance, compliance, or a related business support roleย 
  • Experience managing complex data, reporting processes, or business systems in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentย 

Technical skillsย 

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience building dashboards, reports, and performance tracking toolsย 
  • Experience with analytics and visualization platforms such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar toolsย ย 
  • Experience withย complaint, issue management, QA, or workflow systemsย (i.e.,ย ServiceNow)ย 
  • Ability toย validateย data, improve data quality, and streamline reporting processesย 
  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled productivity and analysis tools, SQL, automation, or database tools preferred, with the ability to use these tools to improve reporting efficiency and insight generationย

Salary Range: $89,335 to $97,743 annually + bonus eligibility.ย This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

  • Translate complex data into actionable insights byย identifyingย trends, recurring issues, and emerging risks, then communicating clear recommendations to FSQA and cross-functional partners.ย 
  • Manage the KFC processing product quality complaints program, including intake, documentation, trend reporting, follow-up, and credit resolution coordination.ย 
  • Improve the quality, consistency, and usability of FSQA data by strengthening reporting processes, system workflows, and data governance practices.ย 
  • Support investigations and issue management through structured analysis, root cause trend identification, and reporting that helps prioritize corrective actions.ย 
  • Build clear, decision-ready updates and presentations for leaders and stakeholders, with a focus on story telling; what matters, why it matters, and what should happen next.ย 
  • Partnerย across FSQA, Operations, Supply Chain, Product Development, customer care, distribution, suppliers, and IT support teams to improve visibility, follow-through, and business outcomes.ย 
  • Lead cross-brand, cross-functional projects as needed to support business and regulatory updates.ย ย
