Job description

Are you mechanically inclined, detail driven, and energized by hands-on production work? If so, we want you on our team as our next Sheet Fed Die Cut Operator! Join a fast paced team where precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement drive everything we do!

Work Hours: 4:00pm - 4:00am; 3 days on, 4 days off (working consecutive days, no swing shift)

Pay Rate: starting from $23.75/hour with a $2.00/hour shift differential

What you’ll do:

  • Set up, fine-tune, and run high-performance sheet-fed die cutting machines to keep production moving at top speed.
  • Execute precise, efficient make-ready setups for flawless production runs that will help champion exceptional quality, strong productivity, and smart waste-reduction practices.
  • Tackle production challenges head-on with sharp problem-solving skills and quick decision-making.
  • Keep die tooling inventory streamlined, organized, and always in peak condition to minimize downtime.
  • Create a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace that supports smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with teammates across the folding cartons plant to keep workflows running strong
  • Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and food safety requirements with consistency and care.
  • Play a key role in helping the Folding Carton business unit hit—and exceed—production goals.
  • Jump in with flexibility and support additional tasks as needed.

Required Skills:

  1. Ability to effectively utilize (writing, speaking, reading) the English language.
  2. Regular attendance, basic computer skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  3. Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions; add, subtract multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions; and accurately measure using both standard and metric measurement systems.
  4. Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
  5. This role requires the ability to stand and walk for 80% of work time; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 20% of work time, see clearly at 20 inches or less, identify and distinguish colors, and use hands for 100% of work time.
