Job Description

As the Senior Manager, Business Operations of the Business Transformation & Systems Management team, you will help drive operational excellence across UPHE by leading process innovation, optimizing workflows, and partnering closely with cross functional teams across the global distribution ecosystem. In this role, you’ll act as a key connector between retailers, internal stakeholders, and technology partners, helping to shape platform development roadmaps, support integrations, and ensure successful adoption post launch. You’ll play an important role in maintaining system stability, resolving issues, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. This role sits at the intersection of operations, technology, and distribution, offering the opportunity to influence scalable solutions that improve efficiency and deliver long term business value. You will be reporting to the Sr. Director, Transformation & Systems Management.

Responsibilities

Strategic Collaboration

  • Partner with business and technology leaders to align systems, processes, and operational priorities, ensuring business needs are clearly defined, understood, and actionable
  • Translate strategic objectives into executable plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, and driving aligned delivery across initiatives
  • Support leadership decision-making through data-driven insights, operational and system analysis

Operational Excellence

  • Lead end-to-end project management for cross-functional transformation initiatives, including scope definition, timelines, dependency tracking, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across systems, process, and operational initiatives, balancing priorities while maintaining delivery quality and business impact
  • Establish KPIs and documentation to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage issue and defect resolution with a focus on root-cause and long-term solutions

Innovation and Technology

  • Manage assigned operational systems and enhancements across the technology roadmap, partnering with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure solutions support current business needs while enabling long‑term scalability and flexibility
  • Partner with Operations & Technology to support automation and scalable platform solutions, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve system reliability while aligning technical delivery with business priorities
  • Ensure system adoption, stability, and operational readiness by coordinating testing, release planning, and post‑launch support, monitoring performance and issues, and driving continuous improvement through feedback and data‑driven insights

Team & Vendor Support

  • Support vendor engagement including SOW execution and performance oversight, assisting with scope definition, milestone tracking, issue resolution, and ensuring vendor deliverables meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations
  • Mentor junior team members or contractors as applicable, providing guidance on project execution, system knowledge, and best practices while fostering accountability, professional growth, and team collaboration
  • Support change management, training, and communication efforts, developing documentation, training materials, and stakeholder communications to ensure smooth adoption of new systems, tools, and processes across global teams
Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business operations, transformation, or systems management within entertainment, media or a related industry
  • Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience with operational systems or digital supply chain workflows
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, PMP or process improvement methodologies

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
