Overview

Job Purpose

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) presents unique opportunities for a full-time, on-site Engineer, IT Multimedia Operations (ITMO) to work with cutting-edge media technology in the financial sector. ICE team members work across departments and traditional boundaries to innovate and respond to industry demand.  A successful candidate will be able to multitask in a dynamic team-based environment demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities and the highest degree of professionalism.

This role will be responsible for NYSE global IT Multimedia infrastructure.  This position requires technical proficiency as well as an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as part of the IT Multimedia Operations department, collaborating closely with the IT Multimedia Engineering department and Broadcast Services. In this role, you will play a vital part in the implementation, innovation, and support of NYSE digital signage, audiovisual (AV) and broadcast technology infrastructure. The IT Multimedia Operations team is responsible for application support, alert monitoring, change management, access permissions, major and minor incidents tracking, checkouts, playbook/workflow creation and project coordination.

The IT Multimedia Operations analyst will be responsible for the operations of all digital media infrastructure & applications. This includes the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE)/NYSE IPTV, AV, Broadcast, Digital Signage and Digital Asset Management systems. The ideal candidate must be able to understand business critical multimedia systems and re-act to solve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Actively monitor and react to system events and alerts.
  • Collaborate with various multimedia teams to ensure their applications follow best practices for disaster recovery, high availability, changes, and incidents.
  • Ownership of production incidents including communication, escalation, and follow-up for root-cause analysis.
  • Prepare documentation and playbooks for troubleshooting and escalation procedures.
  • Assist other ICE/NYSE staff with problem solving and escalation procedures.
  • Interact with third-party vendors; coordinate and collaborate with various internal business units.
  • Prioritize high impact incidents - ensure proper follow-up internally and externally until resolution.
  • Ability to de-silo groups and communicate support and solutions in plain language for a vast audience to understand.
  • Ability to manage several projects at once with a client-first, customer-support vantage point.

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in CIS, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Technology and/or application support experience.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, Salesforce, Dalet, Zignage, Haivision, Content Management Systems, Digital Signage, Video Walls, Multi-Viewers, BigPanda, Spectrum, Splunk.
  • Knowledge of live streaming video, Broadcast TV control rooms, video editing systems and multimedia management.
  • Financial industry multimedia and operations expertise.
  • Change auditing and configuration management.
  • Previous experience in an operations environment.

New York Base Salary Range 

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $61,800 - $82,400 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
