Job description

A warm, active, and welcoming family is seeking a highly experienced nanny to support their two daughters, ages 9 months and 2 years. The family currently employs a wonderful Norland nanny and is looking to bring on an additional nanny to support their busy summer schedule, which includes extensive domestic and international travel. This role will be structured as a ROTA position with a 12-week contract. The family is open to transitioning an exceptional, high-performing nanny into a long-term role that would alternate between ROTA coverage and a more traditional schedule, if the nanny is looking for a long-term position.

The household is warm, health-conscious, and relationship-driven. The family prioritizes trust, mutual respect, and open communication. The household is casual in tone while maintaining high professional standards. There are no pets, and both parents work demanding jobs outside the home. The ideal candidate is positive, calm, flexible, developmentally focused, discreet, and genuinely enjoys being part of a close-knit household team caring for children. This role requires domestic and international travel.

Start Date: July 5th, 2026

Summer / Travel Schedule:
24/7 schedule and availability while on shift
Shifts will range from 1–3 weeks on, with equal time off between rotations
Both children are currently sleeping through the night, but the nanny will be responsible for any overnight wake-ups while on shift

Full-scope childcare for both children
Supporting developmental goals through structured activities
Planning outings, classes, and age-appropriate enrichment
Researching and planning activities while traveling away from Austin
Preparing healthy, whole-food meals for the children
Child-related grocery shopping and supply ordering
Child laundry and organization
Ordering clothing, developmental toys, and supplies for the children
Driving children to activities using a family-provided vehicle
Traveling domestically and internationally with the family
Maintaining discretion

Strong experience as a professional nanny in busy, staffed households

Experience traveling both domestically and internationally with families
Experience working alongside another nanny
Infant and toddler experience required
Calm, flexible, and emotionally intelligent
Comfortable with travel-heavy roles
Confident driver
Enjoys structure, routines, and organization

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Non-smoker
Comfortable working as a W-2 employee

$2,800–$3,500/week (7 full days)
$33,600–$42,000 total compensation for the 12-week contract
W-2 position
Family vehicle provided for work-related use
Travel expenses covered
