Job description

Job Title: Structures Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Structures Technician to lead projects with minimal supervision. In this role, you will manage your team effectively by appointing tasks, tools, and resources, while ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to. You will be responsible for making daily micro-decisions, reporting on resources, safety issues, and leading repairs and modifications primarily focused on avionics supports and generic repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Appoint tasks, tools, and resources for team members.
  • Direct and monitor team performance throughout the day.
  • Prioritize jobs and timelines effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and work safely with the team.
  • Make daily micro-decisions and report to the relevant person for resources and safety issues.
  • Perform repairs and modifications, including working on avionics supports, skin doubles, and building mounts and racks for radio brackets.
  • Travel may be required to support project needs.

Essential Skills

  • 8+ years of MRO/AMO experience
  • 8+ years of heavy modification experience
  • Experience with heavy C-check
  • Ability to work on structures, sheet metal, and heavy structures

Compensation Package

  • Per Diem
  • Flights covered for every rotation - Fly in & Fly out rotation schedule
  • Mileage expense if not flying
  • Hotel accommodation provided
  • Transportation/Company vehicle is provided
  • Weekly payroll cycle
