Summary:
Our company is seeking a full-time Industrial Air Compressor Field Service Technician who possesses mechanical abilities with electrical controls experience. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team with ambition and pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
  • Installation, maintenance, troubleshoot and repair of all makes of industrial air compressors, air dryers, and ancillary air system equipment. The Compressor Equipment we work on is typically located in factories, refineries, food processing facilities, pharmaceutical plants, dealerships, and laboratories, both indoors and out.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of mechanical/electrical experience.
  • Troubleshooting of electrical and pneumatic controls.
  • Experience working with 3 phase electric, drive motors, conductors, circuit protection, sizing, and installation of conduit, enclosures, breakers, transformers, motor starters, etc. Understanding of Ladder Logic (PLC/Relay).
  • Experience with navigating control boards.
  • Variable Speed Drive Installation, troubleshooting, and programming.
  • Reading wiring, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams. Experience with pressure switches, transducers, temperature probes, current monitors, phase monitors, and other feedback devices.
  • AC motor theory, wiring, and fault diagnosis. AC and DC drive installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and/or repair.
  • Equipment installation or other millwright work.
  • Computer skills a must!
  • General PM tasks (filters, oil change, grease, belts, hoses, etc.)

MUST be a team player, as well as provide a valid driver's license and good driving record.
