Job description

Purpose


Provide field service repair support to customers on all Schwing products. Conduct new equipment start ups at customer site. Properly document service repairs and submit warranties as needed.

Essential Job Functions


  • Properly use test equipment to digagnose customer issues.
  • Provide field repairs to customer issues on hydraulic, electrical, mechanical problems.
  • Represent Schwing America in a professional manner.
  • Provide new equipment start up to new and existing customers.
  • Follow all safety regulations while making repairs.
  • Submit warranty documentation and repair documentation as needed.

Requirements

Physical Demands:

  • Standing, bending, stretching, kneeling while making repairs to equipment.
  • Be prepared to work in all types of different climates and weather conditions.
  • Perform stationary work a minimum of 10% of the time using a computer for reporting purposes.
  • Travel a minimum of 80%.

Education/Skills/Experience:

  • Degree in electro-mechanical field, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Specialized training in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read schematics and drawings for troubleshooting reasons.
  • Boom, equipment operating experience on Schwing or related equipment.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer skills in SAP, Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
