We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Floral Lead to join our team at Price Chopper. In this role, you'll support the floral department by creating attractive displays, maintaining fresh product, and helping guests find the perfect arrangements for everyday occasions and special events.

Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
  • Provide friendly, helpful, and respectful guest service at all times to ensure a positive shopping experience and encourage repeat visits
  • Receive, condition, and arrange floral products to create attractive displays and maintain freshness
  • Create, maintain, and refresh floral displays, bouquets, and seasonal arrangements
  • Monitor water levels and cooler conditions to ensure high-quality floral offerings
  • Stock, rotate, and face products using FIFO methods to maintain freshness and minimize waste
  • Assist guests with floral selections, custom arrangements, special orders, and care tips
  • Maintain accurate pricing, signage, and product labeling
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate low, excess, or damaged items to department leadership to support product availability
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe floral area, including prep and display spaces
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and product handling standards
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of floral products, seasonal offerings, and care instructions to better assist guests and drive sales
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates, leadership, and vendors to support efficient operations
  • Collaborate across departments to support overall store presentation and guest satisfaction
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing backstock
  • Remain productive during slower periods by cleaning, restocking, or refreshing displays
