We offer a broad range of auto transportation and logistics services, primarily focused on transporting finished vehicles from automotive production facilities, marine ports of entry, or regional rail yards to auto dealerships around the country. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Maintenance Technician to support daily operations in our diesel truck repair facility. This position is responsible for performing general shop maintenance and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks on equipment, including graphiting posts on auto haulers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance
  • Graphite posts on auto haulers as part of preventative maintenance procedures
  • Assist technicians with basic service and maintenance tasks as needed
  • Inspect shop equipment for proper operation and report issues to management
  • Perform minor mechanical repairs and upkeep on shop tools and equipment
Shop Maintenance amp; Organization
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop floors, work areas, and storage spaces
  • Sweep, mop, and remove debris from work areas daily
  • Dispose of used parts, scrap materials, and fluids in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines
  • Restock shop supplies and maintain inventory of maintenance materials
  • Maintain a safe working environment for technicians and staff
