The Flo Lobby Lounge serves as the resort’s signature social space, where guests enjoy handcrafted cocktails, curated wines, and refined light fare in an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.

Job Summary:

The Bartender – Flo Lobby Lounge (Full-Time) is responsible for crafting and serving beverages with precision, creativity, and consistency while delivering warm, personalized service that reflects the spirit of luxury hospitality. This role ensures the bar operates efficiently, maintains organization and cleanliness, and contributes to memorable guest experiences. The Bartender works closely with the lounge team to uphold Black Desert Resort’s service standards and create a welcoming, engaging environment for guests and members alike.

Onsite: Black Desert Resort – Flo Lobby Lounge
Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Rate: $10.00/hr plus tips. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

  • Prepare, mix, and serve beverages to guests according to resort standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines.
  • Deliver engaging, professional, and personalized service, anticipating guest needs and preferences.
  • Maintain full knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, beers, and lounge menu items.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with Utah DABS and resort policies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar and surrounding service areas throughout each shift.
  • Set up and break down the bar for each shift, including restocking liquor, beer, wine, and supplies.
  • Process guest orders and payments accurately using the resort’s POS system and ensure proper cash handling.
  • Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and management to provide seamless, efficient service.
  • Assist with inventory control, daily requisitions, and product rotation to minimize waste.
  • Support special events, receptions, and resort functions as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety standards, maintaining compliance with HACCP and resort sanitation policies.
  • Participate in team meetings, training programs, and beverage education sessions.
  • Attend mandatory orientations and trainings. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support operations.

  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a bartender in a high-volume or upscale restaurant or resort.
  • Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and beer with strong cocktail-making skills.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling.
  • Excellent communication, guest engagement, and interpersonal skills.
  • Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server Permit required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the State of Utah.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-end service environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
