Position Summary
Perform responsibilities acting as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) in our worldwide flight department safely and efficiently with emphasis on passenger service and safety.
Responsibilities
  • Safely and proficiently, operate private company aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs.
  • Plan flights, selecting the safest and most efficient routes, providing for contingencies, determine appropriate fuel loads, and developing alternative flight plan routes. Review all pertinent NOTAMS. Review and interpret weather reports to finalize flight plan.
  • Perform aircraft pre-flight inspection verifying airworthy condition as well as post flight inspections. Determining the accurate loading of passengers, baggage and cargo including calculating and solving weight and balance problems
  • Utilizing Flight Risk Assessment Tool consistently to assess and mitigate risk.
  • Complete records and appropriate entries in aircraft logbooks/operations forms
  • Collaborates to complete complex and non-routine responsibilities working in an agile environment. Applies flight experience to resolve issues. Discusses escalated issue recommendations with peers or manager. Exhibits accountability for work and behaviors. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Takes the initiative to discuss assignments, expectations, priorities and deadlines as well as seek guidance and coaching from manager. Notifies manager when workload is light and volunteers for additional work. Adjusts quickly to new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures.
  • Identifies efficiencies and bad or unsafe process to team and manager. Drafts standard operating procedures (SOP) and develops job aids.
  • Participation in SMS program and continuing SMS culture.

Education & Licenses
  • Associate's degree or equivalent educational hours or technical school; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Commercial Multi-Engine Land Certificate, Instrument Airplane (ATP or ATP-CTP Course Completion Preferred)
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certification
  • Type Rating Preferred

Minimum Requirements
  • At least four (4) years commercial or private flight experience with advanced technology EFIS and FMS cockpit systems
  • Minimum 3000 hours total flight time completed/logged (TT)
  • Minimum 1000 hours multiengine airplane flight time completed/logged (TT) jet or turboprop

  • Work hours are completely variable Monday through Sunday, with long work days
  • Ability to travel away from home with frequent overnight layovers

Compensation Data
The anticipated salary range for this position is $230,000 to $250,000. Please note that this range is not a guaranteed offer of compensation. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
