Gulls Flight Crew Member

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.

Summary of Position

This is a part-time, seasonal position within the Game Operations Department of the San Diego Gulls. The Gulls Flight Crew Members are a high-energy team that supports the Gulls event presentation efforts at every Gulls home game. Flight Crew Members are enthusiastic and committed to ensuring that Gulls fans have an outstanding experience. The Gulls Flight Crew Members also serve as representatives of the organization at other marketing and game entertainment initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Greet fans
  • Energize the crowd
  • Assist with arena promotions, contests, and intermission activities
  • Work off-site events as needed to promote the Gulls
  • Pass out promotional materials at Gulls home games and off-site events while interacting with fans
  • Assist with in-game video feature shoots as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Passionate about the San Diego Gulls, hockey, and sports in general
  • Fun, energetic, and outgoing personality
  • Team player who enjoys working in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Hockey knowledge preferred but not required
