What are flexible part-time jobs?

Flexible part-time jobs are positions that require fewer hours than full-time roles and offer flexibility in terms of work schedule or location. These jobs are ideal for individuals who need to balance work with other commitments, such as students, parents, or those pursuing other interests. Employees in flexible part-time roles may have the ability to set their own hours, work remotely, or adjust their shifts according to their availability. Common industries offering such jobs include retail, customer service, education, and healthcare. The flexibility provided can help improve work-life balance and job satisfaction.

What is the 3 month rule for jobs?

The 3 month rule in the context of flexible part-time jobs often refers to a probation or trial period lasting three months, during which employers assess a worker’s performance and suitability for the role. After this period, employment terms may be reviewed, and permanent or extended arrangements are typically considered. This period helps both employers and employees evaluate fit and performance before committing long-term.

What Are the Qualifications to Get a Flexible Part-Time Job?

The qualifications to get a part-time job with flexible hours depend on the industry in which you work. If you do graphic design, you may just need a strong portfolio of previous work. Software designers or engineers need a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or closely related subject. Previous work at a software engineering firm is also important. Tutors who work for remote tutoring companies may need to prove proficiency in a particular subject, such as taking the SAT or LSAT. Strong communication skills are also important. Some jobs may train you to meet their client needs.

How do flexible part-time jobs typically structure work schedules, and what should applicants know about shift availability?

Flexible part-time jobs often allow employees to select shifts or set their own hours within certain parameters, making them ideal for those balancing other commitments. However, shift availability can vary depending on the employer’s needs and the season, so applicants should be prepared for the possibility of irregular or rotating schedules. Communication with managers about availability is key, and flexibility on the employee's part can lead to more shift options and potentially more hours. It's also common to work with a diverse team, so collaborating and accommodating others' schedules can be part of the role.

How can I make $500 a week part-time?

A flexible part-time job can help you earn $500 weekly by combining multiple shifts or roles, such as retail, food service, or gig work like delivery or rideshare driving. Developing skills in customer service, time management, and using scheduling tools can increase earning potential and help meet your weekly income goal.

Flexible Schedule Early Intervention BCBA (Part-Time Travel Role)

Elevation Autism Center

Atlanta, GA

$60/hr

Part-time

Re-posted 24 days ago

Job description

At Elevation Autism, our BCBA roles are built with work-life balance in mind.

This flexible, part-time BCBA role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy variety in their work week and the opportunity to support multiple teams and learners across our centers.

You will support a small caseload of just 4-6 early intervention clients (ages 1-6) across our beautiful, expansive centers while partnering with multiple clinical teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

This role is especially well suited for experienced clinicians who value flexibility and variety in their schedule. Our Travel BCBAs enjoy the opportunity to remain highly engaged in clinical work while avoiding the administrative responsibilities of a traditional full-time caseload.

It is also a great fit for clinicians balancing other professional pursuits such as teaching, consulting, research, or family commitments.

This position offers true schedule flexibility, with weekly hours typically ranging from 15-30 hours depending on center support needs, making it a great fit for clinicians who want meaningful clinical work without the structure of a traditional full-time schedule.

All of our centers maintain 4.6+ star ratings, a reflection of supported clinicians, an intentional culture, and thoughtful leadership. (If you do not believe us, check out our Google reviews!)

Who We Are

At Elevation Autism Center, we are more than a locally owned ABA and Speech therapy provider - we are a values-driven community committed to empowering children and families through compassionate, evidence-based care.

If you have a passion for working with young children and enjoy collaborating with a variety of teams, Elevation Autism Center is the place for you.

Why Join Us?

We believe in supporting our clinicians as much as we support our clients. Here is what makes this role unique.

Flexible Work Structure

Part-time role averaging 15-30 hours per week depending on clinical needs

Flexible scheduling that allows for variety in your work week

Opportunity to support multiple clinical teams across our centers

Mileage reimbursement for travel beyond 10 miles between centers

Meaningful Clinical Work

Small caseload of just 4-6 early intervention clients (ages 1-6)

80% billable / 20% paid non-billable clinical time

Opportunity to collaborate with Clinical Directors, Behavior Analysts, and Speech Therapists across multiple centers

Variety and Professional Growth

This role offers the opportunity to work with different teams, learners, and clinical environments, allowing you to broaden your clinical perspective while supporting centers that benefit from additional BCBA expertise.

For clinicians who enjoy building relationships, sharing knowledge, and experiencing different center cultures, this role provides a dynamic and rewarding experience.

Travel & Center Coverage

This role will be based out of the Elevation Autism center closest to you, with travel to nearby centers to provide additional clinical support.

All locations are within the greater North and East Atlanta area, and mileage for travel beyond 10 miles between centers will be reimbursed.

Our Georgia centers include:

If you are looking for a flexible BCBA opportunity that allows you to support multiple teams, work with a variety of learners, and maintain autonomy over your schedule, we would love to hear from you!
