Chenega Naswik International is seeking dedicated and professional Unarmed Security Officers to support security operations for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Office of Security Services. If you are committed to safety, integrity, and customer service, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while serving in a professional federal environment

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment by:
  • Enforcing security regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Conducting personnel, vehicle, building, and facility inspections.
  • Performing package and parcel screening.
  • Monitoring activities and reporting suspicious incidents.
  • Maintaining required licenses and certifications.
  • Working flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Supporting additional security-related duties as assigned
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • One year of security experience; or,
  • Four years of military or National Guard experience; or,
  • Successful completion of a state certified Police Officer's Standard Training (POST) course.
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess United States citizenship.
  • Successfully complete Federal Protective Services medical and physical testing prior to hire.
  • Must speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English.
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook
