Job description

Step into a rewarding contract role providing Speech-Language services to students from Pre-K through elementary levels for the fall semester. This opportunity offers a supportive network across 2-3 school sites near Newark, NY, enabling you to maximize your skills while making meaningful impact.

Ideal candidates will thrive in a collaborative school environment and bring a student-centered, evidence-based approach. You’ll play a key role facilitating communication, language, and social development for young learners, becoming an essential resource for students, families, and educators alike.

Qualifications:

  • Current NY Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification
  • Open to candidates with CCC or those completing their CFY
  • Schools-based experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct SLP services to students at Pre-K and elementary levels
  • Travel between 2-3 nearby school sites as part of your weekly schedule
