Key Qualifications:
- Active New York State SLP license required
- Clinical Certification (CCC) encouraged; Clinical Fellows (CFY) also welcome
- Experience in school settings and pediatric therapy preferred
- Comfortable working onsite; teletherapy experience is a plus
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation and best practices within educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in collaboration with school teams
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Support students using evidence-based practices, both onsite and via teletherapy if needed
- Adapt techniques based on evolving caseload and individual student needs
