POSITION SUMMARY
JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintain relationship with targeted guests through personal, phone, and written contact. Seek out and assist development and cultivation of other casino guests in order to generate increase casino revenue. Provide high levels of customer service to all casino guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Increases growth of gaming revenues by identifying and cultivating mid and high level slot, table game and bingo guests with emphasis on developing relationships.
  2. Evaluate guest play for comps and bonuses, while maintaining positive margins and increased levels of play.
  3. Tracks guests' visits, arranges hotel accommodations, transportation and provides other services according to established guidelines set by management.
  4. Builds relationships with targeted guests through on and off sight activities.
  5. Telemarketing to active and inactive guests.
  6. Travels to other gaming properties (markets) to attract potential new players. Evaluates other casino host programs.
  7. Greets, accommodates and maintains a positive and friendly attitude at all times. Always provides prompt and courteous service.
  8. Markets (sells) casino amenities to guests.
  9. Promote Comps and Cash program.
  10. Assist in the development of marketing programs, host goals, and incentive programs.
  11. Maintains a high level of visibility throughout facility during a major portion of their shift
  12. Meets and exceeds productivity goals as set forth by Player Development Manager and Marketing Director.
  13. Stays informed of competition's promotions.
  14. Greets all scheduled shuttle/bus/limo arrivals and carry out associated duties.
  15. Assists with casino drawings. Displays enthusiasm and excitement.
  16. Addresses concerns of guests having possible gambling addiction to Player Development Supervisor and Manager.
  17. Maintains the floor activities of the casino's Player Development Area on a daily basis, assists in the casino's current and future promotion awareness with patrons and employees. Answers questions about Casino operations without violating Gaming confidentiality policy.
  18. Assists with floor counts. Evaluates patron attendance and effectiveness of Marketing efforts and promotions.
  19. Encourages all casino patrons to join the Winners Club.
  20. Assures positive guest relations by responding to questions and requests for information in a positive manner.
  21. Shares concerns/issues with Player Development Supervisor and Manager regarding deficiencies in the Player Development Department.
  22. Prepares incident reports to/for management as necessary or required.
  23. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
  24. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
  25. Maintains confidentiality at all times.
  26. Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
  27. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
  28. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
  29. Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must be able to meet the public in a friendly, courteous manner to maintain excellent guest relations.
  2. Must have skills to maintain department directives, provide instructions and procedures concerning the Player Development Department.
  3. Must have problem solving skills and be able to handle stressful situations
  4. A basic knowledge of travel locations and addresses in the local community is desired;

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Physically capable of walking, sitting and standing for long periods of time.
  2. Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Education Required: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: Two (2) year casino marketing experience
Computer Skills: Must have strong computer skills
Certificates & Licenses: Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.
