Production Print Service Technician (Service Technician III)

Location: San Jose, CA; Santa Clara, CA; Fremont, CA

Salary Range: $30-$45/hour (based on experience)

FlexTG is looking for an experienced Production Print Service Technician (Service Technician III) to provide advanced technical support for copiers, printers, and multifunction devices across an assigned territory. In this senior-level field role, you'll tackle complex service issues, lead escalations, support key customer relationships, and serve as a trusted technical resource for fellow technicians.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and resolve advanced hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Lead complex service calls, installations, and customer escalations.
  • Configure device connectivity, network integration, and scan/print workflows.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining SLA performance goals.
  • Support and mentor junior technicians through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
  • Partner with leadership and sales teams to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, parts inventory, and expense reporting.
  • Stay current on industry trends through ongoing technical training and certifications.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 4+ years of copier/printer service experience.
  • Experience servicing production/high-volume print equipment
  • Experience with Ricoh, Canon and/or Konica Minolta production lines
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across a wide range of office technology.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, print environments, and device connectivity.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a service territory, and handle escalations with confidence.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.

Preferred

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, IT, or a related field.
  • Manufacturer certifications and advanced training in device connectivity and diagnostics.
  • Experience supporting process improvements, pilot programs, or cross-functional initiatives.
