Director of Supply Chain, Operations & Asset Governance


We are seeking an accomplished operations leader to oversee supply chain strategy, multi-site operations, asset governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position will use data, process controls, and cross-functional collaboration to improve operational performance, strengthen compliance, and support strategic decision-making.


The ideal candidate has extensive leadership experience within logistics, transportation, distribution, fleet operations, or another complex field-service environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead supply chain, logistics, distribution, and multi-site operational strategies.
  • Oversee regional financial performance, budgeting, workforce planning, and operational resources.
  • Develop asset governance standards, lifecycle controls, and compliance procedures.
  • Improve the accuracy and consistency of operational and fixed-asset data.
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting to measure performance.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Optimize delivery networks, fleet utilization, inventory flow, and service performance.
  • Standardize operating procedures and strengthen accountability across multiple locations.
  • Partner with operations, finance, safety, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Lead continuous improvement and change-management initiatives.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and strengthen workplace and transportation safety.
  • Present performance results and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Develop managers and frontline teams across geographically dispersed operations.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, distribution, or operations.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-site operations and dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for budgets, P&L performance, and operational planning.
  • Experience with fixed assets, fleet operations, compliance, or enterprise governance.
  • Strong background in KPI development, data governance, and process standardization.
  • Proven success improving efficiency, service levels, safety, and cost performance.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and visualization platforms.
  • Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma, OSHA, military logistics, or comparable operational training is preferred.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, operations, or a related field preferred.
