To thrive as a FIX Communications Specialist, you need a solid understanding of electronic trading protocols, networking concepts, and financial markets, often supported by a degree in computer science, finance, or related fields. Familiarity with FIX protocol, network monitoring tools, and relevant scripting or programming languages is highly valuable. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities help you manage client relationships and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Job description

Join Our Team as a Mech Tech!
Give Me The VIN is a fast-growing car company with a fun twist - we buy cars from everyday people and sell them to big auto auctions like Manheim. We buy all kinds of vehicles, from luxury cars to classics to junkers. Our process is fast and easy, and we work hard to give sellers the most money for their cars.
We believe in honesty and fairness with both our customers and our employees. We move fast, work smart, and have fun while we do it. Our workplace feels like a locker room - laid back, a little loud, and full of good people who know how to get things done.
We're looking for someone to help check and fix cars before they go to auction. You'll help make sure everything runs right and looks good.
What You'll Do:
  • Check and fix cars at our lot and storage yard
  • Remove steering wheel locks
  • Help move and charge electric cars
  • Inspect and test different parts of the car
  • Write down any issues you find
  • Help out on busy sale days
  • Throw away trash and old parts the right way
  • Use trusted vendors to get parts
  • Add equipment to some cars (up-fitting)
  • Do factory recalls when needed
What You Need:
  • High school diploma (preferred but not required)
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • 5+ years fixing cars
  • 1+ year of working with customers (a plus)
  • Able to drive stick shift and automatic
  • Willing to keep learning as cars and tools change
  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, and move easily
  • Good vision and focus to work safely and carefully
  • Strong enough and sharp enough to do the job well

If you like fast-paced work, enjoy fixing things, and want to be part of a growing team that values hard work and hustle - this is the place for you!
