Position Details:
  • Work Schedule: Sunday thru Thursday (Fridays and Saturdays Off)
  • Start Time: From 7am until job is complete (until around 4pm)
  • Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
  • Work Location: 407 Westcliff Rd, Greensboro, NC 27409

Position Purpose
Cuts, packs, and inspects fish products according to daily production requirements. Operates and maintains processing equipment, ensures product quality, and follows packaging specifications. Maintains a clean and safe work area while complying with all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures. Performs additional tasks as directed to support production operations.
Major Functional Responsibilities:
  • Process/Cut & pack fish to order schedule specifications of fish cuts either by variety of hand tools or by various machines in seafood processing environment
  • Sharpen and adjust cutting/processing equipment. Start-up and shut down equipment.
  • Receive and inspect fish to ensure quality with no defects or abnormalities. Maintain proper stock levels on production line.
  • Identify various product forms by sight and pack each product according to specifications (type of product, boxes, labels, etc.)
  • Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, procedures and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements
  • Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
4+ months of fish cutting, butcher, or cutter experience, or demonstrated knife skills in food processing, culinary, or similar environments.
Ability to perform repeated tasks with attention to detail.
Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise.
Ability to understand to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to perform basic math skills
