Position Summary
As the Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in remaining a reliable and hardworking member of our team. This position involves supporting warehouse upkeep, assisting with equipment handling, and performing various construction and maintenance tasks. The worker will also engage in client interactions, providing solutions and suggestions to enhance their experience while ensuring all job-related documentation is accurately recorded. Will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse operations.
Responsibilities

  • Support overall warehouse upkeep, playing a crucial role in completing building projects, plumbing tasks, and other maintenance duties within the warehouse.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment, including but not limited to, koi fish shipments.
  • Help maintain cleanliness in the warehouse, including all storage areas, outdoor spaces, offices, and more.
  • Install and troubleshoot issues related to various filtration, pump, aeration systems, and plumbing lines as needed.
  • Maintain the grounds and overall appearance of the warehouse/location to ensure it consistently meets FFP presentation standards.
  • Assist in the construction and development of ponds and landscapes as needed.
  • Aid in the cleaning and upkeep of ponds and landscapes as assigned.
  • Ensure that all necessary information is entered daily into our company portal by the end of each shift, covering jobs, parts, and more.
  • Maintain a client-facing approach at all times.
  • Address customer concerns and questions regarding their pond, equipment, and fish while on-site.
  • Suggest additional products and services that can enhance the customer's pond ownership experience.
  • Complete customer notes and follow-up activities on the same day as the service appointment and generate invoices in the field using a company-provided tablet.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in the Warehouse or Landscaping industries - A Plus!
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate an iPad or similar device in the warehouse for inventory purposes - Required
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Required
  • Capability to lift between 30 to 60 lbs, that include bending, continuous lifting, lowering, and carrying packages
  • Ability to work outdoors in challenging weather conditions, such as heat, cold, and rain, for parts of the job - Required
  • Demonstrated record of punctuality and attendance, ensuring a positive and professional demeanor
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, friendly, and focused on safety and procedures
  • Ability to carry out job responsibilities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with ponds, aquariums, aquatic plants or fish - a plus!
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record - Required
  • Available for varied weekly shifts including weekends, holidays, and high peak seasons - Required
Position Salary
  • Full-Time | $18.00 - $21.00/ hour *depending on experience*
