Lago Vista Elementary School is a PK-3rd grade campus of approximately 550 students.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree; Appropriate Texas Teacher's Certificate - Generalist or Core Subjects (EC-6)
Salary: See the Lago Vista ISD Teacher Salary Schedule

Major Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Provide classroom instruction to students;
  • Support classroom instruction based on TEKS;
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to understand student needs, identify appropriate interventions, and modify curriculum for students, as needed;
  • Gather and analyze data to monitor student progress towards goals;
  • Meet with parents, counselors, and agency representatives, as needed;
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with research and best practices to be implemented in the classroom;
  • Establish and maintain rules, conduct, and discipline consistent with District policies and procedures in order to foster an environment that is conducive to learning;
