The Manager, Partner Relations is a key executor on First Tee's Advancement team, responsible for writing compelling partnership proposals, tracking fulfillment across a portfolio of corporate partners, and supporting the business development activities of senior team members. This role is ideal for a self-starter who takes ownership of deliverables and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The Manager works closely with the Vice President and Sr. Director of Corporate Partnerships, who lead external relationship management, to ensure partners receive exceptional stewardship and proposals are delivered with precision and impact.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, sponsorship, or a related field

  • Exceptional writing skills with demonstrated ability to produce donor- or partner-facing proposals, one-pagers, and impact reports

  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing complex, multi-deadline workflows and fulfillment tracking

  • Self-starter with the ability to execute independently while keeping senior team members informed and aligned

  • Experience with prospect research and CRM or pipeline management tools preferred

  • Familiarity with the nonprofit, golf, or sports sector a plus

  • Willingness to travel for industry events and partner meetings as needed

Core Responsibilities

Proposal Development & Writing

  • Develop polished, customized partnership proposals across all investment tiers in collaboration with senior relationship managers

  • Translate partner priorities, mission data, and program impact into compelling, audience-appropriate narratives

  • Maintain a library of proposal templates, boilerplate language, and impact statistics that can be efficiently tailored for new opportunities

  • Support pitch preparation including decks, one-pagers, and executive summaries for prospect and renewal conversations

Fulfillment Tracking & Stewardship Support

  • Own the team's fulfillment tracking systems, ensuring all partner deliverables, deadlines, and commitments are documented and on schedule

  • Coordinate partner reporting and impact recaps in partnership with relationship managers

  • Support grant coordination and reporting processes for corporate foundation partners

  • Assist with partner recognition, acknowledgment, and stewardship activities as directed by senior team members

Business Development Support

  • Conduct prospect research to identify new corporate partnership opportunities aligned with First Tee's mission and revenue goals

  • Compile research summaries, prospect profiles, and pipeline reports to inform outreach strategy

  • Support follow-up from industry events including the PGA Show, including drafting outreach communications and tracking prospect actions

  • Assist with sponsorship development for the annual Network Summit and other revenue-generating initiatives

Partner Retention & Administrative Coordination

  • Support renewal workflows for Inspired, Impact, and Cause Marketing partners, including preparing renewal materials and tracking timelines

  • Coordinate alumni discount programs, partnership fulfillment logistics, and fund reporting in collaboration with internal stakeholders

  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison for partner-related needs across business units, ensuring smooth execution of commitments
