About the Centers

The Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) in Cleveland, Ohio, with a focus on providing comprehensive care formedically underserved individuals in our community, especially those with mental health conditions and substance use disorders. In 2026, the Centers, in partnership with Cuyahoga County and the ADAMHS Board, will open the Glick Recovery Campus (GRC), a behavioral health crisis center, including a Crisis Receiving Center, the Rosary Hall Withdrawal Management Unit, and a Crisis Stabilization Unit, to serve individuals experiencing behavioral health and substance use-related crises. The GRC will serve as Cuyahoga County’s first 24/7, walk-in behavioral health urgent care and stabilization center, offering people in crisis a safe, welcoming alternative to emergency rooms, jail, or the streets while providing symptom stabilization, connection to community resources and facilitating reintegration into the community.

Job Overview

We are recruiting for a Clinical Social Worker or Therapist located at the new Glick Recovery Campus, a behavioral health crisis center, which will begin onboarding staff in July 2026 and open in September.

Be the First Step in Someone's Recovery Journey 

The Centers is hiring a Clinical Therapist for our Crisis Services team. As a Licensed Social Worker, you'll serve as the mental health professional for individuals experiencing crisis until they transition to ongoing community services. 

Your Impact: 

You’ll conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop recovery service plans, and provide therapeutic counseling that engages individuals in their recovery journey. Your expertise will help people in crisis find hope and connection to care. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and treatment planning
  • Determine provisional diagnoses and obtain authorization for services
  • Provide recovery-oriented individual and group counseling
  • Offer family education and counseling support
  • Assess needs and coordinate appropriate referrals
  • Complete timely clinical documentation 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in good standing in Ohio
  • 2+ years providing psychosocial/mental health services in behavioral health settings
  • Experience in crisis intervention services
  • BLS certification, at least 2 weeks prior to start. 

We are hiring all levels of licensure. We also welcome LISW and LPCC credentialed candidates.
