The program typically focuses on helping people take their initial steps toward recovery by offering services such as detoxification, counseling, medical supervision, and support groups. The goal is to create a safe and structured environment where individuals can begin to overcome their dependencies and develop healthy coping strategies. First Step Recovery centers may offer both inpatient and outpatient options, depending on the needs of each person.
