Job description

POSITION SUMMARY


The primary function of this position is to develop, design and create thoughtful Credit Union advertising & marketing with a focus on social and digital channels along with the Graphics Team. The Marketing Design & Media Specialist I will create and resize content as needed to display across multiple marketing platforms through various media types, which can also include print/traditional when needed.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


  • With direction from Marketing Supervisor, work with the First Source Marketing & Community Team and their Ad Agency in development, design, deployment/production of advertising, marketing, and communications.
  • Includes social/digital/electronic, email, promotional/wearables, slideshows, traditional/printed and other as is pertinent to the project, promotion or event.
  • Adhere to brand standards and styles, while clearly defining particular product, service or community lines.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns through CRM with direction from Marketing Supervisor.
  • Support community events where First Source is participating.
  • Capture moments through video and photography.
  • Work with the Marketing & Community Team to brainstorm creative solutions for promotions, programs and events.
  • Support the Credit Union by assisting with organizational or departmental projects as assigned.
  • Represent in a positive manner and participate in First Source Federal Credit Union and Community events as needed.
  • Required to attend or participate in necessary compliance training, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy, OFAC, and Privacy.
  • Required to attend training sessions as appropriate.
  • Required to travel as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Degree in Communication/Advertising Design, Graphic/Media Design, Digital or Information Design or related study
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Microsoft Office including Word, Teams and Power Point, required
  • Strong creative skills and attention to detail required
  • Website CMS, and other design software a plus
  • CRM familiarity and navigation a plus
  • UX design skills a plus
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
  • A professional appearance and the ability to work well under pressure and meet necessary deadlines with on time deliverables

  • Familiarity with financial service offerings and platforms a plus
