Job Description
Ultra Electronics, ICE is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing operations team to inspect products to ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality work. Hours for this position are typically Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect products using gauges, calipers, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections; and communicating findings to supervisor.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; and confirming re-work.
  • Document inspection results by completing checklists, reports, and logs; summarizing re-work and scrap; inputting data into quality database.
  • Verify quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Packages items and prepares them for outbound shipping.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Any other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements:
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequently lift or move 10 lbs. and occasionally lift or move 30 lbs.
