Job description

Are you ready to join a Six Time US Best Managed Company?! KENT WORLDWIDE has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a 1st Shift Production Clerk!
The Production Clerk performs repetitive work station operations in the Production Department. This position is responsible for all activities in the production office.
  • "The compensation range for this role is $19/hr to $21/hr, in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors."

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Print picking lists via Windows AX system
  • Release work, print work, start batches and complete end marking via Windows AX system
  • System troubleshooting
  • Check all related documents (Operator's paperwork) for completeness and accuracy
  • Review any discrepancies on paperwork with Production Lead and/or Supervisor
  • Reporting finished cases, eaches and pounds produced per work order
  • Cycle counts of material as needed
  • Ability to read and distinguish raw material codes and lot numbers
  • Ability to read and distinguish finished goods product codes and lot numbers
  • Walk production lines and record machine speeds for each
  • Report items produced following proper format via excel spreadsheet
  • Follows verbal and written instructions and completes daily assignments with a minimum of supervision
  • Performs check in procedures for the admission of temporary employees into the plant during shift changes and lunch/break times as needed
  • Assists production and management team as needed
