They are currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will serve as the first-line leader, supporting team members within your designated area or zone. You'll coordinate daily operations to meet production goals while fostering a positive and productive work environment that ensures team success. Apply today!

What You Will Do:
  • Model consistent respectful treatment of team members in all interactions, discussions, and decisions
  • Cultivate an empowering environment that drives continuous improvement focused on safety, efficiency, delivery, and quality
  • Strengthen lean operations by driving ongoing improvement initiatives to build team member skills and reduce waste
  • Mentor the team leaders, guaranteeing proper training within 12 months
  • Ensure team members receive proper training in safety, equipment operation, quality and 5S from their leader or designated trainer
  • Ensure team members are accurately documented on the training matrix
  • Develop annual goals and objectives to achieve operating metrics
  • Be the first point of contact for employees on employee relations matters
  • Communicate with union stewards regarding discipline and contract issues
What you will need to be successful:
  • 1-3+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced, medium-to-high volume manufacturing setting (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in operations, manufacturing engineering, or business (preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Professional, co-op, or internship experience will be considered
  • Experience working in Welding and/or Fabrication (preferred)
