City Tree Christian School is a wonderful community of teachers, staff, and families working together to educate our children in a loving Christian environment. We are a ministry of First Presbyterian Church committed to integrating educational excellence with the Bible-based teachings of Jesus Christ. We are an ethnically and socio-economically diverse school located in downtown San Diego. About 200 students attend our school-age infants through eighth grade. Our school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.Seeking individuals who are available on an on-call basis to work in the classroom, playground, and during lunchtime. Pay depends on education and experience. We desire dependable, mature, and responsible people who are able to integrate their love for Christ into interactions with children.Qualifications: Preschool substitute teachers must have at least six units in child development with more in progress. K-8 substitute teachers must have a Bachelor's degree; a teaching credential and teaching experience are also preferred. K-8 substitute teaching assistants must have significant experience working with children in a professional setting; college degree preferred.All substitutes must have experience working with children.
