Job description

The Fire Systems Technician will travel to customer sites to provide scheduled fire system testing and documentation.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • You would utilize testing apparatus to verify the operation of installed fire detection systems
  • Provide test results and summaries to clients on the functionality of Fire Detection system
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of Fire Detection Systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Assist in documenting service procedures and service-related activities
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality service to clients

What You Bring to Assure Success:

  • Previous experience in the service or installation of Fire Detection systems
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new technologies and basic troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites
  • NICET Certification is preferred, but not required with the right experience. Any other industry related certs or training are also a plus. (Ex: Siemens, Simplex, etc.)
