Job Description
The Fire Systems Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's fire systems program, including fire alarm, fire sprinkler, fire pump, fire extinguisher, and VDA systems. This is a program-level role focused on managing fire code violations, inspection deficiencies, and planned fire systems upgrade projects across the portfolio.
This position coordinates and executes larger repair and upgrade initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external partners to identify impacted properties, prioritize work, and support timely completion. A key part of the role is managing (AHJ) interactions, reviewing inspection findings, coordinating corrective action, and tracking issues through resolution to support compliance and reduce risk.
The Program Manager serves as the primary liaison for violation-related matters, communicates expectations clearly across Operations, Facilities, and Central teams to ensure work orders and projects are completed efficiently. Strong organization, written communication, follow-through, and stakeholder management are essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate fire systems repair and upgrade projects from planning through completion
  • Manage fire systems compliance, violations, and inspection deficiencies across the portfolio
  • Serve as the main point of contact for AHJs and internal stakeholders on violation-related issues
  • Track work orders, documentation, timelines, and project status in internal systems
  • Collaborate with Operations, Facilities, and other teams to drive corrective action
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and project progress to ensure timely completion
  • Identify recurring issues and help convert them into structured projects

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management
  • Experience and knowledge within the trade required, ideally 3+ years.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Experience with scheduling, cost awareness, and contract administration
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to drive work through completion across cross-functional teams
